The 'Maxima' series features a line of superior performance double suction horizontal split case pumps of robust design to meet today's demands in industrial, municipal, agriculture and commercial applications. An extension of the Monoflo 'Kompact' series, Maxima caters to design capacities of up to 15 000 m3/hr, with sizes of pump discharge up to 1000mm in diameter.
 
 
 

Incorporating advances in computer-aided technology, and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analysis, Maxima offers high efficiency performance, reliable & long life service resulting in less downtime & low maintenance cost.
 
 
 
 
  Casing
The casing is of horizontal axially split design, with both suction & discharge connections and the mounting foot integrally cast in the lower half. This allows upper half of casing to be easily removed for inspection & maintenance of complete rotating assembly without disturbance to the pipework and driver.

The upper casing is also designed with 'ribs', which adds robust and ruggedness to the pump ensuring reliability when operating in demanding conditions.
 
 
  Impeller
The Maxima features a 'double flow' designed impeller. It is a hydraulically balanced double suction impeller with symmetrical combination of two enclosed impellers, and the vanes staggered. With this design, along with balanced radial load, the impeller provides quiet operation, minimum vibration, low pulsation, low NPSH-required and optimum flow. In addition, with this 'balanced' construction, the thrust load is reduced, hence prolonging the life of the bearings.
 
 
  Dual Shaft Extension
Maxima also features 'dual shaft-extension' design, which allows options in connecting the driver on either end of the shaft, depending on installation site condition or pipe layout/flow direction.
 
 
  Bearings & Bearing Housing
Designed for short bearing span and easy removal of rotating assembly for maintenance & service. Combined with the heavy duty shaft, the short bearing span minimises shaft deflection hence prolonging bearing and seal life. The bearing housing also has access for bearing temperature monitoring sensor to be connected, if required.

The grease-lubricated deep grooved type ball bearings installed are primarily protected by a stainless steel water thrower and O-ring, with oil seal further preventing dust or water ingress. .
 
 
  Shaft Seal
Shaft sealing available by means of packed gland or mechanical seal. Designed with interchangeable sealing chambers for mechanical seals and packed gland, seal type can be converted easily.
