  Fibreglass pressure tank

  WM

'WellMate' is designed to be the toughest, longest lasting tank you can buy. Computer-aided design means that WellMate tanks are engineered to exacting standards. Only high grade raw materials are used, while proprietary techniques give the look & performance - that is unique to WellMate. Extensive testing and rigorous quality control ensures that each WellMate tank delivers the long-life durability.

Moulded of seamless engineered plastic, our captive tanks are wounded with fibreglass roving and epoxy resin. WellMate tanks provide all the strength and performance of steel tank without any drawbacks.

Valves & protection cap for optimal protection

Durable interior aircell is fully replaceable 8 constructed of heavy-gauge polyetherurethane (PEU)

One piece, seamless inner moulded of premium, high-density polyethylene

Outer shell is a composite of continuous fibreglass strands sealed with high grade epoxy resin

Seamless, full-size, blow moulded aircell is custom fitted for each tank.

Bottom inlet/ outlet assembly for easy installation. The bottom dram is designed to provide optimum flow.

Sturdy, moulded polymeric base ensures perfect stability, and is corrosion and impact proof.

Unlike the operating concept of a steel tank, air is pre-charged in the aircell, which is fastened securely at both the top and bottom of the tank.

When system pressure falls below 'cut-in' setting, pump starts. Water enters the space between the inner shell and aircell, thus compressing the aircell and reducing its volume by the same amount of water entering. Water is pressurized.

When the system pressure reaches 'cut-out' setting, pump stops on full tank capacity.

Upon water demand, pressure from the aircell forces water into the system, without pump operating. Until the system pressure falls below system 'cut-in' setting, the operating cycle begins again.

Due to Well Mate's unique design, which the pre-pressurized aircell takes the shape of the shell, and is 'squeezed' when water fills up the space between the aircell and shell, the aircell has no chance of expanding, thus prolonging its life. Even when air pressure in the in the aircell is not regularly maintained, continuous water pumped into the tank will not expand the cell.
