Genetron 134aUV is an enhanced refrigerant product designed to make leak detection faster and easier in car air-conditioner (A/C) systems.

Genetron 134aUV contains a proprietary refrigerant-soluble dye that reduces the time required to locate car A/C system leaks. Since the UV dye is charged with the refrigerant, no extra steps are required to inject the dye into the system.

Genetron 134aUV can also be used continuously as an air-con leak detector. When servicing a R134a car A/C system that does not already contain a leak detection dye, Genetron 134aUV can be used to charge the system. Future leaks will be easier to detect now that the long-lasting UV-detectable dye has been introduced into the system.

Honeywell Refrigerants® 134aUV contains pre-mixed UV dye that simplifies mobile a/c system leak detection. The environmentally-safer, non-ozone-depleting refrigerant is combined with a proprietary pre-mixed, refrigerant-soluble ultraviolet dye that rapidly disperses throughout the system, eliminating the spills associated with manually injecting dye. Meets SAE specs; available in 30-lb. cylinders or cases of 12-oz cans.
