These color coded barrier charging hoses meet UL (1963) and SAE (J2196, J2197) requirements for strength, pressure, and refrigerant permeation. Working pressure: 800 PSI. Burst pressure: 4000 PSI.

Choice of End Connections
PolarShield® comes with ends for 1/4" SAE flare connections or with a permanently attached hi performance Kwik-Coupler® at one end. Standard 1/4" swivel flare connections feature an angled elbow with an adjustable valve core depressor. With the addition of the Kwik-Couplers®, refrigerant is captured in the hose preventing refrigerant loss, atmospheric damage, and dangerous hand burns.
