Two of our subsidiaries, Asiatic Techno Pte Ltd and GB Chemicals Pte Ltd were recently accredited ISO 9001:2000 by UK’s AJA Registrars. Congratulations! They are the fourth and fifth companies, respectively, within the Asiatic Group of Companies to be accredited under the Quality Management Systems (QMS). In 1996, Asiatic Engineering, the parent company, went through about 6 months of laying down and documenting our system to meet the QMS requirement and was subsequently accredited the ISO9001-1994 certification in May 1997. To conform to the changes in the market needs, Asiatic Engineering was then converted to the updated ISO9001-2000 in January 2002. AsiaMech Engineering Pte Ltd and Asiatic Refrigeration also jumped on the bandwagon to be certified in 1998.
